Albretch Durer

In a small village near Nuremberg, a family lived with 18 kids. The father of the family had to work 18 hours a day.  In this situation Albrecht Durer and his brother Albert (two of 18 children) had a dream in their mind. They both wished to be a painter, but they knew that their father can never pay the money for their education. One night after a long time discussing in bed, two brothers decided to do something. They decided to throw the coin in the air and the looser had to go and work in the mine and give the money to the other brother so he can study in a University. Then the brother who finished his education after 4 years  had to sell his painting and support the other one to go to University, so both can reach their wish. In Saturday morning they threw the coin in the air when they were in the church.  Albrecht Durer won and went to Nuremberg, instead Albert went to a dangerous mine in the south. Albert worked full time in the mine for four years to support his brother who was in the University. Albrecht's paintings were better than his teachers, he got a lot of money from selling his painting during his graduation year. When the young artist went back to his village, his family held a  banquet for Albrecht's return and his success. After dinner Albrecht stood up and told his brother: " Albert, now it is your turn, you can go to Nuremberg and I will support you as much as I can." All heads turned to the end of the table where Albert was sitting. Tears from Albert's eyes came down. He stood up and said:" No brother, I can not go to Nuremberg, it is too late, see what happened to my hands during this four years of mining work,my fingers  broke several times and I feel  pain in my right hand, I can not even hold a cup in my hand.
One day Albrecht went to his brother for appreciating all of the hard works that he did for him, he took his brother hands that were attached to each other  and turned them skyward. He painted his brother's hands and called his painting "hands", but world understood all the emotions that were in the painting and called it "prayer hands."
More than 450 years passed from that story and Albrecht's paintings are in every great museum around the world.

I learned that sacrifice is a great thing that not every body can do it, sacrifice can be painful and hurt you sometimes, but the effect that it has on someone else would heal all your pains. Mother Teresa has a good quote "Love cannot remain by itself ; it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action, and that action is service. " It means If you love somebody you should serve him/her, you should always help your love ones and sacrifice for them. Remember sometimes you may change someone else's life just by doing small things.

xeroderma pigmentosum

I was reading the news today, and I saw a really sad news. It was about a family living in the poor part of my country. The family consists of a mother and three children(two girls and one boy). Their father died, and they are living with their mother, all three children are suffering from a skin disease called xeroderma pigmentosum. It is a really painful disease. Their skin is so dry and sensitive especially to the sun. They can't go outside when the sun is in the sky, because their skin would burn. Their mother spends too much money buying sunscreens and different creams. None of the children can find a job, because nobody gives them job and nobody helps them.

They prefer to die but not live like this. The oldest child  lost one of his eyes and he suffers the most.
Yes, it is a pain...I wish they could divide their pain, If they could; I would be the first one to take some of their pain, and make them feel a little comfortable...

I learned to thank god for my good life, for my healthy body, and for everything I have. Maybe we would never thank god; If  we wouldn't see these people, and If they weren't on the earth.
Let's always smile to our life, and be thankful for what we have.

people are like a scale

Have you ever been very kind to someone and then you just realized that he/she is so mean to you?...or have you ever helped your friend and then realized that he/she never helps you when you need a help?...Sometimes I feel that if I was this kind to a chicken , she would give me two eggs everyday, and not only my heart didn't break but I had two eggs and I could make an omelette with them.
I think it's our fault that we forget that humans are like a scale. Some people are like a kitchen scale, it doesn't show more than 5 pounds. Don't forget that you can put heavier weight on it, but it doesn't matter what ever you put on it (doesn't important if it is 11 pounds or 15 pounds), it still shows you the same thing, because the understanding of the scale is that much, however, some scales like weigh scale shows the weight until 550 pounds, If someone that is 130 pounds go on it, it shows 130 pounds, it also shows 330 pounds exactly as 330 pounds, but it has a limit and that limit is 550 pounds.
Some people are like digital scales, they don't have any limit and you can always have their support. They deserve so much kindness and help, like some mothers or some friends that are really like your brother or sister.
Let's always try to be like a digital scale, without any limit.

To achieve everything you want, you should first release it (Fahua Jing)

This morning I was reading some of the teachings of Fahua Jing(a Chinese philosopher), In one of his sentences he said" In a fight, the one who knows how to succumb always wins."...  the sentence seems stupid when you look at it but when you think deep in it, you will under\stand how deep is its meaning.
Jing's philosophy is an action but at the same time is inaction, just like when we were a child and your parent punished you with silent because we did something bad, but that silent was really worse than smacking.
I was thinking to myself have I ever won a fight with giving up?yes... one  time I went to a trip with my friends and we only had 2 beds in our room but we were 4.  I put my bag on the bed and went to the bathroom but when I came back I saw my bag on the ground and one of my friends was on the bed. I told her I came here first and I put my bag on the bed,she said no there was no bag on the bed when I came here. She felt so smart of taking the bed that was mine actually. I put my bag under my head and slept on it without saying anything to her. When she saw this, she came to me and told me that bed was yours sorry, go and sleep on it; I said no I am comfortable here but she went out of room so I can sleep on the bed.
This means action while it is inaction. Making someone to understand his/her fault without doing any special action. I mean sometimes we get very interesting answers by just giving up and doing a really small actions which I call inaction.

Never lie :)

When I was 7 years old, my mother was a director of a high school.  She usually took me to her high school. I was first grade... I remember what happened that she didn't take me there anymore.
One day an office Inspector wanted to come to my mother's high school to see the condition of the high school. One of my mother's friends that had a really good handwriting was writing the welcome with a red color on a white fabric, Suddenly her cell phone rang and she went outside to answer her cell phone. I told myself, I just learned the alphabet so I can finish the writing until she comes back, and she will be so happy when she sees that I have done her work. So I started to write on the fabric, but after a while I just noticed that my handwriting is so bad. I just folded the fabric and threw it in the back of the cupboard. I stood on the tip of my foot to put the brush on the top of the cupboard, but the color can fell down on my head and then droped on the ground with its cap opened. I closed its cap and put that in the back of the cupboard and ran away. (In that time some red color was on my head and I didn't realize that).
I swore a lot and I told them that I don't know where the fabric is, but I didn't undrestand why they don't believe me at all.
Yes, I didn't know that my red head is telling them everything.
I learned  to never lie again, because it will unfold one day.

The Humanoid Cat

I loved cats since my childhood, but two years ago something happened that made me to hate cats. There was a very pretty cat in the back of  my school, she was one of the cutest cats I have ever seen.  I believed  her behavior and potential could be a thesis topic for a farrier. She was so wired though, she spent a long time climbing the tree and when she reached to the top of the tree, she would come back and do the same thing again and again for more than ten times. Sometimes she just laid down on the grass and turned her face toward the sun just like some women that lay under the sun in beaches. I don't know why but I loved that cat so much.... I remember one day, I was so sad and disappointed, I sat on the ground and the cat came to me, I threw a biscuit for her and she ate all of it, she looked at me and I said go... I don't have anymore, but she didn't go. She put her head on my feet and fell sleep; I started to pat her but after some minutes she jumped on my leg and I shoot her with my feet and ran away. I didn't understand why she jumped on my leg, but I still loved her because her first action was really interesting for me.
The next day, my friends and I were sitting on the same place that I was the day before. The cat came to us, I started to pat her again but I didn't have anything to give him, so he went away. One of my friends said that's disgusting, I said why? he said I don't know, I just feel she is like a human, look how she comes to you and looks at you, how she makes you pat her and how she rubs her body to your legs, Or how she becomes so wild at the time that you really don't expect this, just like some people. Since that day until now, I hate cats, and I know it is not a good reason, but I just hate them.... I think some of animals really have human's attributives. Sometimes we simulate some bad human's attributives to animals, because we think that animal's attributives look bad in human's body. We never think that human's attributives look worse in animal's body. Just like that cat.

HELP... HELP

We all do some mistakes in our life... some of them are small mistakes which we could forget really soon, but some of them we can't even forget... they actually affect our life and will stay in our mind forever.
The major problem that we people have is that we never try to learn anything from other's mistakes ,and we always prefer to do them, and see the results by ourselves. Then we ask ourselves "why I did the same mistake as he/she did?".
It was two years ago when one of my friends did a huge mistake, and he told me to never do that in my life. Last year I did the same mistake, I remember I was so upset and I asked myself why I didn't listen to him?
So I tried to come up with something so I can always remember to do not do that mistake again... I wrote something in my notebook and memorized it, and it actually helped me a lot.

" I heard someone screaming. I couldn't understand what he is saying. The voice was coming from the well. I think someone needed my help. I moved my head forward and screamed, WHO IS THERE?, then he answered " be careful, someone is back of you ", I just turned my head, and someone pushed me down. when I opened my eyes, I found myself at the end of the well, I couldn't stand up, my body hurt so bad. I screamed HELP...HELP. After some minutes someone came beside the well and said WHO IS THERE????"

Okay, that was what I wrote in my notebook, It helped me to always learn from other's mistakes and to don't do them. It helped me to always look forward when I want to do something , even if it is not an important thing.

Life is like a self-service

This story is about the first visit of "Emmet Fox", contemporary writer and philosopher, from a self-service restaurant, when he came to America for the first time.
He never been in that kind of restaurants. He waited for a waiter but nobody came to him, he stayed on his seat for a long time. Every moment that passed, he became more angry because the waiters did not looked at him at all. He looked at the people that were came after him and they all had their plates full of food.
Finally he went to a man that was sitting on the seat next to him. Emmet told him" I am sitting here for almost 20 minutes and nobody cares about me, but you are here for only 5 minutes and you have your food in front of you. What is the problem? How do the restaurants work in this country?”
The man was really amazed, he looked at Emmet and told him" This restaurant is a self-service", he pointed to the end of the restaurant where the foods were then he continued "go there and grab a plate then choose every food you want, pay the money and then come here and eat your food!".
Emmet Fox was really ashamed and did everything that the man was telling him to do, but when he put his food on the table, something came to his mind. Yes, life is like a self-service. All happiness, despondences, chances and situations are in front of us, but this is us that are sitting on our seat toughly and looking to the others to see what they got in their plates. We always look at others plates to see what they have more than us and we never think to stand up and see what are there for us and choose everything we want.
WHEN LIFE DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING, IT IS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WANT ANYTHING FROM  IT.
I learned that you should never wait for something to turn up. Don’t be content to let things drift along, hoping for the best. It is not spiritual to ‘put up’ with inharmonious conditions. If the conditions of your life are not to your liking, you must get to work on your own consciousness and, by raising that above the outer picture, cause those conditions to become something doing this until you find your True Place nearer to your heart’s desire.

She had one eye

My friend's mother didn't have one eye. She lost her eye by an accident when she was little. I was in 2nd grade and he was in 1st grade. One day when we came back from school, he started crying. His mother asked him what is wrong? and he showed his painting to his mother. I could see the discomfort in her eye; she hugged him and told him that she will talk to his teacher tomorrow. He effaced the tears from his face and went outside to play with his friends.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the painting from the ground and looked at the painting. He had to draw the face of one of the family members. He drew his mother's face with one eye and there was a black whole instead of other eye. There was 10 out of 20 under his painting with a note "Dear J.K you should be careful, all people have two eyes". My tears came out of my eyes. I hugged his mother and told her that I hate her son and he is so mean, he shouldn't draw you like that. She looked in my eyes and told me "don't cry, you shouldn't get mad of him, he is a boy; boys are more realistic than girls, they see everything as they really are but girls see everything as they like to see". Then she told me," it is better for you to learn how to draw your painting realistic not the way you like your painting to be". Next day we all went to school with J.K's mother, I exactly remember our art teacher's face when her mother was talking to him, he was so impressed and he just said one sentence " I am sorry, I didn't know". His mother said "I think 10 is a really low grade for being a realist kid” and our teacher said” Yes you are right". I saw J.K in the afternoon, he was so happy, he showed me his painting and there was a 20 instead of 10 on his painting. He looked at me and told me" I am a really good artist" and I said yes you are. Then I started crying, he asked me "why are you crying"? I said because I am a girl ;).
I learned two lessons that day:
1. To be a realistic person.
2. To never judge early about anything, you don't even know what problems people have.

What is going to be on this blog?

Hello
For the first post on this blog, I want to tell you what this blog is going to be about and why I chose this title for my blog.
During 18 yeas of my life; I learned a lot of lessons from my mistakes, others mistakes and others success. I usually write these lessons so I can always remember them and use them  in my life .
All people make some mistakes in their life, but successful people always learn lessons from their mistakes and try to not doing them again.
I want to share my lessons on this blog, this way I can review them again and it may also help others who want to have a good life with fewer mistakes.
